As many large companies have learned, short-link redirectors are useful, but trusting this function to an external company is not always ideal. First, why give someone else analytics to my web traffic? Second, will that external service company still exist in 5 years?
If you want to know more about my sites, I have written about my setup. I have no intent on becoming a short link provider, which is why there are no tools on this page for the reader to add short-links to this service.
